Musical Laboratory* hand-manufactures audio components for music connoisseurs of the highest musical performance available in their class.
Musical Laboratory* has its origins in the London and on-line audio communities, with influences from new generation audio designers Thorsten Loesch and Allen Wright.
Other influences include minimalist implementations from the likes of Christopher Own and, of course, Junji Kimura - creator of the original Gaincard.
These influences, and our own experiences, led to a growing disillusionment with mainstream high-end audio, which seems obsessed by measuring performance solely in terms of technology features and wattage.
At Musical Laboratory* our view is more simplistic. We believe only one thing is important: the ability of a component to play music.
