Once I pay by PayPal, what happens next?
If you order a standard sized product, we will normally be able to ship this within 2-5 working days.
If you order a non-standard size product and we have to make to order, then we will normally be able to ship within 5-10 working days.
In the unlikely event that we are waiting on a part from a supplier, then we will normally be able to ship within 10-15 working days. In this case, we will notify you by email and give you an expected shipment date.
How will my order be delivered and will I have to pay freight charges?
All our products are shipped to you FREE OF CHARGE World-wide. For orders over 200 EUR we will ship by our courier service. In this case it means that we can offer complete on-line tracking of your order from the moment it leaves our laboratory until it is safely delivered to you.
Will I have to pay sales or import taxes?
Depending on where you are located, we may be able to ship our product to you free of sales tax. In these cases, the customer is responsible for any taxes or import duties should these be subsequently be levied by the authorities in the customers tax domicile.
What happens if I want a product in a size not listed in the web-site?
You can order cable products to your exact size requirements by emailing your requirements to us. We shall cost the product based on your size requirements and notify you. Once we receive your payment, we shall build the product to your requirements.
Do cables Burn-in?
Yes, there are various theories as to why, but the unmistakable truth is that cables of all types do change in sound as they burn-in. Our cables are generally made with pure silver conductors. Silver conductors can sound lightly hard sounding and lacking in musicality, when first connected. Fortunately, we subject our cables to a constructed 96 hour burn-in process before they leave our laboratory. This means that much of these unwanted characteristics will be attenuated before our product reaches you and already the beauty and organic quality of music will begin to be heard.. After the initial 96 hour burn-in period during which the characteristics of the cable change quite rapidly and noticeably, the cable’s signature will continue to evolve gradually until the musical potential of the cable will be heard almost certainly by 120 hours.
Does it matter how I connect my ML* cables?
Yes, be aware that burn-in is *directional* in nature, so please respect the cable direction when installing, if you want to hear the benefits of the burn-in process the cable has undergone prior to shipping.
Can I return a product that I have bought?
Our products carry a 14-day money back guarantee. In the unlikely event that you are not more than 100% satisfied with the musical performance of one of our products, then simply return it to us. Unfortunately, we do have to apply a 15% restocking fee to recover our freight and handling charges. The product must also be returned in mint condition. Musical Laboratory* retains the right waive this guarantee or upwardly revise the restocking fee in cases where the product is returned to us in a damaged state. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
The above guarantee applies to standard size products. Where a product has been built specifically to a customers size requirements, we regret that we cannot offer this returns policy.
